MDC XT10 Caravan

Expedition Series Third Generation
Build No: 29 August 2014

Our home away from home

Welcome to our MDC XT10

With construction projects being further away we wanted flexible site accommodation, so we began a three month research operation to find a compact hybrid off road caravan.

The Lifestyle Camper Trailers AT10 Hypercamper and Market Direct Camper Trailers MDC XT10 were both shortlisted however we required a van by 01/10/2014. Unfortunately the substantially cheaper XT10 at $52,000 was the only unit that could be custom built in time, including:

  • Custom grey electric awning
  • Dometic 2200B Reverse Cycle Aircon
  • 500 Watts of solar
  • Foxwing style awning with walls
  • Sizzler BBQ

Our unit is number 29 which is a third generation XT10. The fifth generation XT10 finished production in Oct 2015 when the model was replaced with the XT12. The minor changes are the main door, dual boot access doors, electrical switch board slightly moved, black fold down table, red independent suspension, sound system, water tank stone guard as standard.
